 Family information

Helen and I have three children, I have two boys aged 16 and 20, and Helen has a daughter. Although they do not live in the house they are frequent visitors, and often join us on activities such as going punting or sports. I like going for walks with my dog, which is an activity you can join me in, and Helen is particularly keen on art and museums and will be happy to show you around the ones in Cambridge and possibly London.

About the teacher’s accommodation

We live in a small, comfortable house in a lovely village called Meldreth. There are woods and a small river running through the village. The village green is at the back of our house, with tennis courts. There is one very nice pub in the village. The student has a large, comfortable double bedroom.

About the local area

We live in the village of Meldreth, a 20 minute train ride from the centre of Cambridge and 50 minutes to London. In our area there is a gym and swimming pool in walking distance, some lovely countryside where you can walk my dog with me, a pub and one shop. Cambridge has all the facilities one would expect from a city.
