North England

Shelley R

Hello, my name is Shelley and I live in Rugby. I have been an English teacher for ten years. I lived in Italy teaching English for eight years and can speak Italian quite well, but I remember how difficult it is to learn another language! I have taught on UK international summer schools, in private language schools and in my home. We look forward to hosting students from around the world and enjoy learning about different cultures. Our home is very cosy and welcoming and I am sure you would enjoy your stay and have a positive learning experience.

Family information

I live with my two daughters (2010 & 2012) They both enjoy gymnastics, dancing and swimming. They are very creative and sociable and can also speak a little Italian because their father is Italian and we visit their grandparent in Italy every year. All of my family members live close by. If you come to stay with us you will probably meet my brother and his children as well as my mum and dad and my grandparents. I enjoy preparing healthy home cooked meals for my family and going on fun days out to local parks and places of interest. We go on lots of long walks and bike rides. In the evenings I like to watch movies or read a book.
