Welcome to our home.
My wife and I both have long teaching careers. For the last 30 years, I have mostly taught girls aged 11-18. However, I did teach 7-8 year olds for two years.  My teaching experience included responsibilities in a boarding house where I looked after over 60 teenagers.  I am able to teach mindfulness to students, staff and parents. Mindfulness had a major impact on the lives of those I taught.

Family information

My wife Kate also has an Honours Degree from the University of Leeds and can also teach. We have 3 grown up children. Emilia has a French degree and lives nearby in her own home with her partner, Jason. Laura and Eddie are both at university and are home in the holidays. Laura is studying English and Eddie mechanical engineering. Both the girls look short courses in TEFL as part of their degrees. We enjoy the local countryside for walks, bike rides and picnics. I enjoy variety in my life and so seek to make the most of all that is available in the south east of England including London.  In recent years, I have attended major music festivals, enjoyed the theatre and have been to several West End shows.  I am passionate about music so much that I even try to create it myself. I love a good book and very happily will sit in front of a great film. My wife and best friend also shares my interests.
