About
Michael L

I love to welcome students to my home, where you are accepted as part of the family for the duration of your stay.
Your one to one learning experience is made easier through interesting family conversations and meals. Listen to stories and let me share my wide-ranging experience from the Policing world, the private business sector and of course, teaching English. My wife will also help out, if necessary, as she is also a TEFL teacher.
Enjoy our quiet neighbourhood and trips to the local pub and coffee shop. Enjoy leisurely walks in the nearby Phoenix Park or, for the more adventurous, in the Dublin and Wicklow Mountains.

 Family information

My wife, Eilish and I are in our fifties. We live with two of our adult daughters in a nice comfortable 5-bedroom detached house in Castleknock, Dublin. Eilish is a secondary school teacher in the Inner city and is TEFL qualified, with many years of home-tuition experience.
Aoife (1991) works as a Certification/Audit Officer for the National Driving License Authority. Judy (1996) works in Administration for an outsourcing company. We are all avid readers, we love going to the gym and watching movies.

I love to go for long walks in the nearby Phoenix Park and in the Dublin and Wicklow Mountains. I encourage my students to join me and have interesting conversations and picnics along the way. I enjoy boating on the lakes in our 6 berth family cruiser and our students are welcome also, weather and time permitting. Great variety for classes.
