About
Michael K

Hello.
My name is Michael K. I live in a very beautiful part of west London together with my wife and young daughter. I have hosted students from various parts of the world including Japan, Thailand, Spain and France. We provide a warm place for you to come and study with us.
We have a nice house in a green part of London but the centre of town with all its history and attractions is only 20 minutes by train.
We love cooking, particularly Thai food, and are lucky to be close to many beautiful parks and the river.
My passion is sport so if you are interested in visiting one of London’s sports arenas or seeing a game I’d be happy to take you. Our local neighbourhood is a fascinating mix of different cultures from Korean restaurants to the local English pub so there is always plenty to see and do here.

 Family information

I live with my wife and four year old daughter. My wife and I love travel and have visited many countries all over the world.
We also love history and visiting museums and historical places of interest both here in London and around the world. We have many friends in our area and enjoy meeting them in the summer for picnics and visiting local pubs and restaurants.
Our daughter is very lively and loves music and dancing.
I have many interests but my main ones are history and sports. I am particularly interested in the fascinating history of London and have collected many books on the subject.
I also enjoy watching sports. Living close to Wimbledon and various football stadia, I have taken students on guided tours and matches as well.

About the teacher’s accommodation

We have a large semi-detached house spread over two floors. The student has a large bright bedroom. Private bathroom is available if requested.
The area is both very green and very safe. It is very much a family neighbourhood with a good local community. We have a large open kitchen and dining room leading to our garden.

About the local area

Living in this part of London we have a huge range of possibilities. We have a frequent 20 minute service to central London but we also live within walking distance of the river where you can take sightseeing trips in to and out of London.
We live near London’s biggest green space, Richmond Park, which has many beautiful walks.
Our local area, New Malden, is most famous for having many good Korean and Japanese restaurants and we also have an excellent traditional English pub.
