About
Mel S

Hello! We are a young and lively family living in North-West Surrey. Our home is ideally situated between tourist attractions such as, Hampton Court Palace and Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We enjoy being outdoors, taking walks along the river, picking strawberries in the Summer. Including English, I fluently speak 4 other languages and, therefore, find it very easy to relate to and communicate ideas with other language learners. My specialism is exam preparation and I have helped many students prepare for their IELTS exam in order to obtain a place at their University of choice.

Family information

I am in my late 20’s and I live at home with my husband Michael who is in his mid 30’s. He is a Science teacher in a nearby secondary school and has a PhD in immunology. He loves athletics, and was a semi-professional sprinter he also enjoys listening to music and (unfortunately) he is a supporter of Arsenal Football Club… We have two daughters (2012 and 2014), they both enjoy gymnastics, playing football, role-playing and puzzles. We have one son (2016) who enjoys building blocks anything with flashing lights. I enjoy cooking cuisine from all over the world and would be enjoy attempting to cook a traditional dish from the student’s home country/ childhood etc. I also enjoy attending aerobics classes and if a student would like to participate or attend a class of their own they would be more than welcome to.
