Marion S

Dear student, my name is Marion and I have travelled the world teaching English as a foreign language. I have taught children and adults in both school/business and home environments. The key to learning English is to feel relaxed and confident with your teacher and I seem to have the ability to achieve this. I live by myself near the city centre of Edinburgh and I’m sure you will feel at home with me.

About the teacher’s accommodation

My home is an upper villa in an old historic part of Edinburgh. The students accommodation will be in the attic conversion with great views of Arthur’s Seat. The room is spacious with a desk for homework. There is also a spacious en-suite shower room. The property is very near a park and near to the bus stop. The property has just recently been renovated to a very high standard.

About the local area

I live about 20 minutes by bus into the city centre. My home is very near to Arthur’s Seat park and there are lots of lovely walks. There is also one of the oldest bars/restaurants 5 minutes walk from my villa.
