Teacher introduction
Hello, My name is Maria. I am a qualified teacher of English as a foreign language. I am native English speaker, who really enjoys host teaching, especially on a 1:1 or 2:1 basis. Over the years I have acquired a diverse range of skills and have experience of teaching all levels. My previous business career has enabled me to support teaching business English to a variety of students. I live in Birchington-on-Sea, which is a village in north-east Kent, with my husband and 11 year old son. The location is quiet and peaceful yet so close to miles of sandy beach. After all you can be sitting on the beach within minutes swimming and sunbathing all day in the summertime or going for a walk along the beach in the winter. The mainline train station is only a 2 minute walk away. There is a unique country park with 250 acres of beautiful grounds, outside leisure activities and a fantastic museum, best known as the Powell-Cotton Museum, with the most impressive Natural History dioramas in Europe.
