Academic information

Apart from a Bachelor of Education Degree I also have a TEFL certificate. I have spent 4 years teaching in a classroom. I am currently teaching year 6 students and I have prepared them for important exams called SATS. I have spent a summer teaching English to Spanish students and summers at kids camps doing various sporting activities.

Family information

I live with my partner, we are both in our 20s. There is a park right beside our house where we spend time kicking a football and just relaxing on the grass. My partner loves playing and watching football and is getting back to playing with his local team after having a sports injury. We have a nice garden we’re we have barbecues when the weather is nice. I enjoy Irish dancing and also I like to play the piano. You are more than welcome to join in on coming along and joining the Irish dancing club. I also enjoy swimming and reading.

About the teacher’s accommodation

My home is situated in a safe and quiet residential area, 2 minutes away from restaurants, shops, library pub and petrol station. It is nice, friendly and very safe here. Student room has a single bed and the bathroom is shared.

About the local area

There are loads of activities to choose from: there are swimming pools, tennis courts, lots of parks to go walking as well as cinemas, shopping centre and the beach is a short car journey. There are lovely towns, castles and cathedrals to visit also.

Excursions available with this teacher

Canterbury trip – A visit to the stunning historical Canterbury. A walk through the ancient streets which hold a variety of uniques shops, visit the Cathedral, have a picnic and relax in one of the many gardens and go on a walking tour of the city.

Hastings seaside trip – A visit to the beautiful seaside of Hastings. Walk through the old town of Hastings and visit some of the quirky shops. Have a picnic on the beach. Walk along Hastings  pier. There are amusement activities along the seaside that will entertain for hours.

Family fun activities – Ten-pin bowling located beside the cinema. As well as a trampoline activity centre. All located in the same building. Choose between the actitives, walk along the town and over the bridge. Short drive to the swimming pool to cool down after the activities.

London trip – Short train journey up to London. Walk along and visit Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, London eye and relax in convent gardens, watch the street entertainers. Visit M&M world and visit the London eye.

Brighton Pier – A visit to the British seaside.Walk along Brighton pier and the promenade and have a picnic on the beach. Enjoy the sites and scenery walking along the famous Brighton Pavilion.
