About the teacher’s accommodation

We live in a four bedroom house which backs on to our local park. We have a lovely back garden where my children play netball and football with their goalposts and where we enjoy barbecues. There is a conservatory when the weather isn’t so good. We have a shared family bathroom and another toilet and shower. The local shops are 5 minutes walk away and a bus stop is opposite our house. It takes 5 minutes to walk to the foot of the South Downs.

About the local area

We live in Eastbourne which is a pretty seaside town on the south coast of England. It is famous for its chalky cliffs, hills and countryside. There is lots to do in Eastbourne and the surrounding areas including visiting castles, museums and galleries. All sports and water sports, theatres, cinemas, shopping, beaches and plenty of beautiful walks. Our house is next to a park with tennis courts and football pitches. By train Brighton is 20 minutes and London 90 minutes.
