Teacher introduction

I am a fun loving, kind and patient person. I love the outdoors and taking part in outdoor activities, like walking, cycling, exploring and like to try new things and also love motorbiking. My partner and I, (and a cat), live in a beautiful country cottage, surrounded by forest fields and a local close community. We love meeting new people and allowing them to learn about our local culture, involving them in our lives. I love to make teaching as interactive as possible, giving students the best way to learn a new language. You will be very welcome in our warm peaceful home, with beautiful surroundings and views.

Teacher about the local area
We live in a detached country cottage. The area is a quiet country area surrounded by beautiful farm fields, vineyards, cottage properties. We have a local village pub a 5 minutes walk away which has a beautiful green where the locals play cricket. There are many walking pathways in the area, so many non-locals come to visit the area. Although we are located in a quiet area, we are only a short drive to main high street towns with many stores and facilities. There are local gyms that have swimming pools, tennis courts. There is a mini golf less than 10 minutes away. There is also a dry slope skiing/snowboarding centre only half an hour away.

Description of how to get here by public transport, including nearest rail and bus stations
The closest airport to where we are is London Gatwick. It is possible to pick up from the airport at an additional charge. Alternatively, the nearest station which has the quickest connection into London Bridge is Tonbridge, which is 10 minutes from us. We would collect from Tonbridge station. The train from London Bridge to Tonbridge is 36 minutes.
Teacher hobbies and interests
Apart from home tutoring, I also host events for adults with learning disabilities and we’d welcome to join once a week at one of our fun events. We enjoy running, cycling, motorbiking and doing things like ice skating and snowboarding. Mainly outdoor activities where we can and when the weather is good. We also like reading and appreciating nature, while learning about history.
