Irene F

Hello, We look forward to welcoming you to out home on the Isle of Wight. I live here with my husband and out two grown up daughters (early twenties) spend some of the summer with us. We live a few minutes from the sandy beach with some lovely walks and many places to visit nearby including: Queen Victoria’s home; as well as traditional holiday pass-times such as crazy golf.  I am a qualified primary teacher and have studied English literature (including Shakespeare and poetry) and history in my degree as well as studying maths and human biology in further education. I have many other interests: I enjoy cake decorating, gardening and walking. We also have a Kayak for the days on the beach.

Family information

The main occupants of our home are now my husband (Peter) and myself (my name is Irene but everyone calls me Sue!) We have two daughters who spend much of the summer with us. They are in their early twenties. Our eldest daughter is a primary school teacher and will be living back home for some of the summer. Our youngest daughter has just finished university. She has enjoyed her time there and spent her spare time  as a cheer leading coach. My sister lives close by and has a 15 year old daughter who spends time with us at family meals or visiting the cinema with my daughters. She also enjoys music and sings in a band organised through the local university. I enjoy art and craft hobbies which include cooking- I often make a traditional afternoon tea for the family during the summer- which you may like to prepare with me or alternatively making sugar flowers. I also enjoy gardening and making mosaics with tiles. My husband enjoys football and we have a pitch and putt course in walking distance for any keen golfers.
