About the local area

Gabriella lives in Broadstairs in the county of Kent on the south east coast of England. Broadstairs is a pretty seaside town and the house is just 15 minutes walk from the sea. There are many interesting historical places to visit in the area such as the busy city of Canterbury which has lots of shops and restaurants as well as an ancient cathedral. There are old castles to explore at Dover and Walmer and many interesting old houses and gardens are within easy reach. The picturesque town of Sandwich is nice to visit to see the old town walls and buildings. London, with all its attractions, is an easy day trip.
