Before becoming a teacher of English, she enjoyed a career as a China Restorer. Emer is able to teach General English courses with and without Culture, for Young and Senior Learners, Business and Professional and Homestay courses.

Emer lives with her husband and two daughters in a spacious and comfortable home in Co. Wicklow, 29 kms south of Dublin.
The family has a friendly dog that they enjoy walking along the seafront every day.
Emer has a great passion for Art, and enjoys taking visitors to the National Gallery, National Museum and Graduate end of year shows. She also enjoys cooking, reading and entertaining. The family enjoy travel, particularly to France where they have a holiday home.

This is a detached bungalow with a garden for students to enjoy when the weather is nice.
The student’s room in Emer’s home is large and well-furnished and provides a space where students can go for quiet and privacy at any time.

County Wicklow is less than one hour south of Dublin city centre, with commuter links by rail, bus and motorway. Known as ‘The Garden of Ireland’, County Wicklow is one of Ireland’s true scenic treasures with its magnificent hills and mountains, long sandy beaches, rivers and lakes.
Excursions you can take with your teacher
Dublin city centre – We are only 40mins outside Dublin city centre, so students love it. A great plus also is that most of the galleries and museums in Dublin are free to enter.
