South England

The location of my home is fabulous. I live in a national park where there are wild ponies and deer running free and a beautiful landscape but we are also very close to the coast with Bournemouth, a famous seaside resort only a few miles away. London is easily accessible as we are only one and a half hours away on the train. There is sailing, all watersports, horse-riding and all country activities here.

Academic information

After obtaining a Science degree I spent 12 years working in research before running my own business for over  30 years.;  I have recently retired. I had already qualified with Celta and have had several students but now I feel able to concentrate on helping students improve their use of English in a relaxed atmosphere.

Family information

I live alone with a small friendly dog. My three children are all around 30 now and pursuing their own careers although they visit often. My main interest is horse riding, I have my own horse and the New Forest is an excellent place to ride. I also enjoy sailing which is very popular in nearby Lymington. Cinema and theatre are my other interests and we have good facilities at Southampton and Bournemouth.
