About
Elaine R

The location of my home is fabulous. I live in a national park where there are wild ponies and deer running free and a beautiful landscape but we are also very close to the coast with Bournemouth, a famous seaside resort only a few miles away. London is easily accessible as we are only one and a half hours away on the train. There is sailing, all watersports, horse-riding and all country activities here.

Academic information

After obtaining a Science degree many years ago I spent 12 years working in research but now run my own small company. This designs and cares for plants in offices and has been running 30 years. I took my Celta certificate to learn to teach as I have a great love for the English language and wanted to share it.

Family information

My three children are all in their twenties and are pursuing different careers. One or more of them is usually home at the weekend as none have yet settled down. My 2 daughters live in London and my son is in the Royal Marines. My partner John does not actually live at the house but is often here. He is a retired lawyer and sails and plays golf mainly.

My main interest is horses and horse riding. The New Forest is perfect for riding so there could be the opportunity to ride. We also have a small racing boat so we sail regularly and that is also possible to organise. My partner John is keen on golf so that is also easily available
