I have almost 30 years experience of English teaching and working with students from around the world. I am one of the writers of a best-selling series of exam preparation books (First Certificate Expert, Advanced Expert and Proficiency Expert) published by Pearson. I can help you identify the main problems you have in any area of your English and what you need to do to improve. We can work together to set goals and find the best way to achieve them. About the teacher’s accommodation

My house is a typical 3-bedroom Victorian London terraced house with modern extensions on a quiet street. The guest room is at the back overlooking the garden. There is a private bathroom next to it.

About the local area

Streatham is great reflection of London; dynamic and diverse, with something for everyone. There are many pubs, restaurants, shops, parks and a sports centre with swimming pool in close to the house. There is very good and easy public transport to other parts of London e.g. Wimbledon or Greenwich. Central London is only 15 minutes away by train. I have many years’ experience of showing visitors around and can suggest interesting places that you might like to see whatever your interests; from history to modern architecture, great art to graffiti, classical to modern music, fashion, design and a great variety of people, cultures, and food.
