I am a teacher of English as a foreign language. I have taught in the UK, Germany and Finland. I teach business English as well as general courses.
My wife and I really enjoy welcoming students into our home in the centre of Brighton.
Before I became a homestay teacher, I worked for over 30 years as a solicitor and as a translator of legal documents. I speak German, French, Italian and some Spanish.

About the teacher’s accommodation

We live in a three-bedroom house with a patio. The house is a few minutes’ walk from the beach, the pier and the magnificent royal pavilion. There are two bedrooms available for students, one with an en-suite bathroom and the other with a shared bathroom.

About the local area

We live in the centre of Brighton, a very popular seaside town. Brighton is an exciting and lively place, with two universities and a young population. It has some impressive architecture and many parks. The countryside is not far away and there is a frequent train service to London.
