Teacher introduction
I’ve been specialising in teaching English one-to-one to business people for the last 10 years. I take a lot of care to create individual programmes that are enjoyable, enriching and get progress as fast as possible. I love a challenge so I’m always doing new things to fit the course to the learner. Oxford, a beautiful and historic centre of learning, provides a wonderful setting for this. It’s full of interesting people and opportunities to make this happen. My house is in Kidlington, a large village just north of Oxford. It’s a small place, but clean, quiet and comfortable.
Teacher home details
The house is in Kidlington, located a 5-minute walk from the local shops and there are frequent buses to Oxford. It takes about 30 minutes by bus into the town centre. You’ll have a comfortable and clean room to yourself and share the bathroom with me.

Teacher about the local area

Oxford has one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in the world so there’s lots going on, especially in term time. It’s a beautiful city, offering great architecture, shopping and sports facilities, restaurants and pubs, public lectures at the university, live music, lots of theatres and cinemas, plenty of museums – from art to the history of science. You’re never far from rivers and countryside and parks. London is 1 hour away and there are lots of picturesque Cotswold villages we can reach in under 30 minutes.
Teacher family
I live alone. My son is 19 and lives away from home, so I’m afraid you won’t meet him. I do have some interesting neighbours and friends who I hope you’ll get to know over dinner or a nice walk in the if they’re free.
