Teacher introduction
Hi! I’m Anne Marie. I live in Clontarf in Dublin with my husband and sixteen year old daughter. I have two older boys who have left home-one in Dublin and the other works in Paris. We have a nice house with a big garden (and piano), three minutes walk from the sea but only 5km from Dublin City Centre. I speak French, my daughter speaks French and a little Spanish. My husband is an accountant and university professor.
Teacher home details
We have a four bedroom home with two single interconnecting bedrooms. The bathroom has an electric shower and a bath and can be for the private use of the student if preferred.
Teacher qualifications text
I am a lawyer but I stopped practicing law when my children were small. I love languages and recently I have been teaching aduts in Atlantic languages. Before that I taught children in France and teenagers in DCU Language School.
Teacher about the local area
Clontarf is known for its seafront promenade and for St Anne’s Park which is a huge green space with woodland walks and a market at weekends. It is a village with its own post office, supermarkets, restaurants, pharmacies and a very good fish and chip shop all within ten minutes walk of our home. A short bus ride brings you to the City Centre. There is a nearby swimming pool in the CRC which is open to the public during certain hours at a cost of €4.
Teacher family
My husband and I have one daughter (born 2002) and she likes playing the piano and baking. She likes to read but she doesn’t like shopping! We are in our 50’s and we enjoy cooking and travelling. We like going to the cinema and walking in Clontarf where we live. My husband helps with the local Gaelic football team.
Teacher how to get here by public

Teacher hobbies and interests
We enjoy showing Dublin to visitors. Walking around the city is very pleasant but the beautiful seaside villages of Howth and Malahide are close by. we are also within an hour of the beautiful Boyne Valley in Co. Meath. We can bring you on a walking tour and introduce you the best Irish produce.
