Family information

At the moment I live alone (apart from a very nice tabby cat ) as my daughter and her son are now living independently. I have lived In Faversham for 33 years so I have a lot of friends who I often see and foreign friends and family who often visit.  I’m a very sociable person and there is a lot to do in my town so I don’t think any student would be ever bored. I have lots of hobbies which in the past students have often taken part with me. I love going to the cinema and museums and art galleries ( especially London ones).  I love cooking and for many years I did an afternoon cooking option with my students. Yoga and walking are also important to me and there are some lovely walks near my home.

About the teacher’s accommodation

Faversham is a gorgeous, historic, small town with many beautiful medieval buildings. The old market place is the heart of the town and there’s an excellent market every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday. Near the market square is an excellent indoor and outdoor swimming pool. A golf course and horse riding are not far from the town and musical recitals are often held at the weekend. Not to mention our fantastic cinema!  It’s a vibrant and friendly town.

About the local area

I live in a Victorian house 10 minutes walk from the centre of town and not far from lovely countryside. My home has many original features – lovely Victorian fireplace and cupboards. You would have the main bedroom and your own bathroom and toilet which is a modern shower room in my recently converted loft.
