Family information

I live alone in my flat but often have friends round who are all friendly and would be happy to talk to you and get to know you as well as me. I have many interests outside of teaching. I love to explore and to travel and to be outside in nature. So I’d be happy to take you to places around where I live and perhaps further if it was wanted. I like to play and watch sport, watch live comedy, listen to music, read, see family and friends, go to the gym and always be learning new things about myself and the world. I’m happy to include students in my hobbies if they wish.

About the teacher’s accommodation

My home is a large, spacious flat on the third floor of a small building. I have a balcony with an incredible view where you can see the sea, the South Down hills and the city of Brighton and Hove. Within 3 mins walk there are two supermarkets and 5 mins walk the sea is right there! Brighton and Hove train stations are both around 15 mins walk away. There are buses all over the city and now rental bicycles too. The room you will have is a big room, comfortable, and has all you could need in it. It has a double bed, wardrobe, bookshelf, T.V., comfortable relaxing chair, a desk and chair, three lamps of different sizes and a shoe rack. The bathroom is shared with me.

About the local area

There is plenty to do around Brighton and nearby. There is a swimming pool 15 mins walk away by the sea (it’s indoors, don’t worry!). There is a sports centre there too, a gym and plenty of other gyms all within easy walking distance. If you’re into horse-riding there is lots of that nearby Brighton as well. Brighton has a great array of restaurants, pubs, bars, cafes to explore and visit. These are all within easy walking distance of where I live too. Most things are possible to find in and around Brighton and I’m always happy to help out and do have a car so I can drive to different places of course.
