Valerie is an experienced teacher of English and has taught a number of different ages and nationalities. She worked in Business and Finance for 20 years before training to be a teacher. As well as hosting, Valerie has worked for Daewoo as an English instructor for their Korean staff and families, and at Chichester College on their summer school programmes. She is a creative, enthusiastic and friendly teacher who likes to make her students feel at home.

Your Teacher's home

Valerie and Bernie live in Felpham near Bognor Regis in a comfortable, modern, semi-detached house just a five-minute walk from the sea. The couple are both interested in cooking and gardening and have a lovely garden and allotment where they grow their own vegetables. Valerie and Bernie have a son and a daughter who now live away from home but visit regularly.
