Tolkun W

Tolkun is an experienced and qualified teacher of English and Russian and lives in a comfortable home on the 'Isle' of Portland.

Tolkun will make a personalised one-to-one English study course for you. For example, you may want to practise your speaking and listening skills, or you may want to work on pronunciation, writing or grammar.

In addition to your lessons, there will be a lot of conversation practice during meal times. One-to-one homestay English lessons allow you to improve your English as quickly as possible.

Tolkun regularly runs courses for our young students and combines a programme of one to one English lessons with exciting excursions and activities in the local area. Even after one of week of English home learning with Tolkun you will be thinking and dreaming in English!  During a 2-3 week English home tuition course with Tolkun you can start to develop real fluency and confidence in using English as an everyday language.

As part of your English home tuition course, Tolkun will arrange local activities and excursions to the famous Chesil Beach and Bournemouth. You can meet Tolkun's friends and neighbours and practise your English. Tolkun and her husband both enjoy cooking and you can try making some traditional British foods such as scones and jam.

Tolkun enjoys a wide range of interests and hobbies including dancing, singing, swimming, reading, gardening and cooking.

Tolkun is in her 50's and lives with her husband and son.
