Sarah (30's) enjoyed a career in the newspaper industry before changing career and entering into teaching. Sarah has taught students of many different levels and different nationalities. Sarah enjoys teaching adult students and young learners and has a wide network of friends and family in the local area in which she welcomes her students.

Sarah has a wide range of interests including languages, travel, local history, horse riding and cooking. Sarah and her partner have been busy in recent years restoring a windmill which is near to their house. The windmill is now fully restored and is used as a holiday home!

Sarah lives with her partner Robert in a cozy cottage. The student’s room in Sarah’s home is comfortable and well-furnished and provides a space where students can go for quiet and privacy at any time.

Sarah is an experienced and qualified teacher who specialises in intensive one-to-one teacher's homestay courses. Sarah trained as a teacher of English and has since worked with students from many different countries. She teaches courses in General English with and without Culture, for Young and Senior Learners, as well as Examination Preparation.

Sarah creates a personalised English language study course for each student, set at the correct level – elementary, intermediate or advanced – and clearly focused on the key areas chosen by the student. For example, one student may want intensive practice of speaking and listening skills, while another may wish to improve his or her grammar, pronunciation or writing skills. Sarah’s specially designed one to one home tuition sessions produce excellent results in whichever English language skills most need attention.

The Homelingua experience also has the great benefit of offering students total immersion in the English language during their stay, with plenty of opportunities for conversation practice and the use of everyday English outside lessons as students join in mealtime conversation, shopping trips, social occasions and so on. The combination of intensive one-to-one home tuition and extensive exposure to natural spoken English enables students to make excellent progress in their English language and communication skills in the shortest possible time.
