Rod has enjoyed a career in business and trained to become a Mortgage and Insurance broker in 1990. After 15 years of work as Mortgage and Financial Advisor, Rod took some time out of full time work to take a degree and MA in linguistics. Rod now combines his part time work as a Financial Advisor with his rewarding work as a teacher of English.
Rod describes himself as a great fan of all types of music including Rock, Folk and Classical. He loves cooking and food and has an interest in beers and wines. Rod also describes himself as a sociable person and enjoys the company of other people very much. Rod enjoyed playing basketball when younger and obtained a coaching qualification. His main sporting interest is now watching Wales play rugby

Rod lives in a comfortable 4 bedroom home with a nice back garden in the London suburb of Beckenham. There are two train stations nearby with direct services to London Bridge and Victoria.
Rod has a nicely furnished room with study facilities. Family Rod lives with his wife, Merle, who works part-time.
