Maureen is a highly qualified and experienced teacher of English as a Foreign language and has taught students in her home and in language schools for many years. She has lived and worked abroad in many different countries including Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Poland and Egypt as well as working in the UK.

Maureen will be pleased to design a course around what you need to learn. 

Maureen lives with her husband Jeremy who is a professional guide for a specialist travel company. Maureen and Jeremy have children and grandchildren who live in London. She is interested in literature, the theatre and visiting art galleries 

Your Teacher's home

Maureen and Jeremy live in a spacious and comfortable 'Edwardian' style house. There are 4 bedrooms, a kitchen, dining room, living room and study room. There is a lovely garden at the rear of the house which Maureen and Jeremy enjoy looking after during the Spring and Summer.

Jeremy and Maureen live in the village of Groombridge which is just a few miles from the town of Royal Tunbridge Wells. Tunbridge Wells is a beautiful small town with historical monuments and good shopping. Although convenient for access to London, Groombridge is surrounded by beautiful countryside.

Royal Tunbridge Wells. Trains take 55 minutes to London Charing Cross station.
