Carol H

Carol is in her 50's and a qualified teacher of English but enjoyed a successful career running her own catering business in London for many years before re-training to become a teacher. Carol previously lived in the east of England, near Cambridge, before relocating nearer to the coast and seaside. Carol trained as a teacher of English in 2002 and then enjoyed several years traveling in Asia and working as a volunteer teacher in many countries.

 Carol has taken a CELTA qualification in Teaching English as a Foreign language and has over 13 years experience in teaching.

Teacher Hobbies and interests

Carol loves traveling, languages and teaching. After taking her teaching qualification, Carol headed out on a long expedition to Thailand, Singapore and Australia and other countries and in many countries worked as a voluntary teacher of English and built up a lot of teaching experience.

About the local area

Brightlingsea is a small and pleasant seaside town near the town of Colchester. The town has a main street with many shops including a butchers, bakers, fishmonger and Pharmacy. The town is very popular with visitors during July and August who come to enjoy the beautiful surrounding countryside and seaside.

There is a direct bus service from Colchester and there is a regular train and bus service between Colchester and London.
