Janet is an experienced and qualified English tutor. She has taught English to students of different levels and nationalities for many years. Janet now combines teaching English as a foreign language with her work for Oxfam, the international charity. Oxfam has its headquarters in Oxford. Janet is able to teach General English courses with and without Culture and English for Academic Purposes.

Janet lives with her partner Theo, in a typical Oxford terraced house. Their home is well decorated with a comfortable and stylish living area very close to the River Thames. Janet's home is a short walk to the centre of the famous city of Oxford. It is very easy to visit London by train or bus from Oxford, and the Cotswolds are only 30 minutes away by car.

Janet's interests include visiting the theatre, boating and reading.

Janet has no pets in her home.

Janet's students follow a specially designed one-to-one homestay English course which focuses on the language areas which are most important to them, such as speaking and listening, writing, grammar, the language of business English, and so on. By working intensively on these target areas, students make rapid progress in their English language learning during their stay.
