Bruce W

Bruce is a very experienced English teacher. He teaches a wide range of courses including Business English, Examination Preparation and Academic English. For part of the year Bruce teaches legal English at an Italian university and also teaches at the British Council. His teaching experience includes working with Airbus, Banca d'Italia and Ernst and Young. Bruce particularly enjoys 1:1 teaching.

Hobbies and interests

Bruce is interested in the local history of Chesham and likes exploring places of historical and cultural interest. He also enjoys walking and discussing current topics in the news.

Your teacher’s home and family

Bruce and Silvia live in a semi-detached house in Chesham, which is under an hour from London by train and about 30 minutes by car from Heathrow. The house has been extended and has four bedrooms and a room dedicated to teaching, complete with a computer and Wi-Fi. Chesham is set in the Chiltern Hills, an area of outstanding natural beauty. Silvia is Italian and a fluent English speaker. She enjoys collectng antiques for the home, gardening and cooking.
