Jane is an experienced and qualified teacher who lives with her husband close to the towns of Stratford-upon-Avon and Warwick, in the Heart of England. Jane is in her 50's and has 2 grown up sons who now live away from home. Jane is friendly and enjoys being involved in the local village community, and often hosts overseas cricket players that have visited the area. Jane likes meeting new people and learning more about their background and culture.

Qualifications

Jane is a qualified school teacher.

Hobbies and interests

Jane's interests include gardening, walking, swimming and socialising with friends and family. She also does a lot of voluntary work with the local church and community.

Family

Jane's husband Alan still works part-time as a teacher and is very involved in organising local events in the village. They have 2 sons, one now lives in London and the second son lives in Thailand.

Your Teacher's home

Jane's home is the old bakery that was converted into a family home about 30 years ago. It is a large 4 bedroomed house in the village of Kineton. Jane and Alan enjoy having visitors and making everyone feel welcome and at home during their stay.

Pets at home

There are no pets in Jane's home.

Location

Kineton is a large village with a population of 2500. The village is just 16kms from Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick and Banbury. There is a local bus service from the village to the nearby towns. The village has a few shops, churches and some sports facilities.

Jane draws on her many years experience as a state school teacher and education advisor to develop an intensive tailor-made langauge course that focuses on the language areas that are most important to you, such as speaking and listening, writing and grammar or examination practice. This can be done at all levels - elementary, intermediate or advanced. Jane is also very willing to combine English language teaching with sightseeing or cultural tours of the local area and the Cotswolds.
