Kathleen is a qualified and experienced host and English teacher. She started her career as a school teacher in London, teaching French, German, Russian and English to Speakers of Other Languages(TESOL).

She retired early and spent some time in Spain. She then moved to Bath where she ran a busy guest house, receiving people from all over the world. Kathleen and Richard now live in Eastbourne in a nice apartment. The couple are both interested in international cooking and enjoy providing the best in traditional English home cooking for their guests. They are pleased to include cooking in the tuition time for students. Kathleen is also interested in folk dancing.

Your Teacher's home

Kathleen and Richard live in a very comfortable and spacious apartment with 3 bedrooms. It is situated on the top level and there is only one other apartment on this floor. Doors lead out of the comfortable lounge onto a spacious balcony overlooking the sea and promenade.

About the location

The apartment is situated on the sea front and overlooks the promenade. The town centre can be reached by a 10 minute walk along the promenade. There are many places of interest in the area, for example Brighton and Hastings.
