Deborah is an experienced and qualified teacher who specialises in one-to-one teacher's homestay courses. Before becoming a teacher, Deborah worked in the voluntary sector and was involved in community projects, developing areas throughout London. Deborah trained as a teacher of English as a Foreign Language in 2000 and has since worked with many different students, ages and nationalities.

Deborah lives in a spacious and comfortable 4 bedroom detached house in Evesham. There is a garden and patio area, where, if the weather is nice you can sit out and listen to the birds. Deborah's home is just a few minutes from the centre of the town, where there are shops for all occasions, including tea shops for afternoon tea. Evesham is an excellent base for exploring the Cotswolds and Stratford-upon-Avon.

The student's room in Deborah's home is comfortable and well-furnished and provides a space where students can go for quiet and privacy at any time.

Deborah's many interests include cycling, motorcycling, reflexology, DIY, european & middle eastern films, documentary films, gardening, and cooking. Deborah enjoys travel and have extensively travelled through Eastern Europe, Italy and the Middle East. She has a passion for the Middle East and is happy to share this experience and knowledge with students.

Deborah has a very friendly cat.

Deborah prepares an individual one-to-one homestay English course for each student, which focuses on practising the language areas they are most keen to develop. Whether students want to improve their speaking, listening, reading or writing skills, or to concentrate on business English, general conversation skills or cultural discussions, Deborah provides a series of intensive lessons which will maximise progress in those areas in the time available.

The Homelingua experience also has the great benefit of offering students total immersion in the English language during their stay, with plenty of opportunities for conversation practice and the use of everyday English outside lessons. Students find themselves joining in mealtime conversation, going on shopping trips and sharing social occasions in a very natural way. The combination of intensive one-to-one home tuition and extensive exposure to real spoken English enables students to make excellent progress in their English language and communication skills in the shortest possible time. It also offers a warm and in-depth experience of British culture and traditions.
