Clare O

Clare is an experienced and qualified teacher who specialises in intensive one-to-one teacher's homestay courses.  She has enjoyed a career as a state school teacher at secondary level, and has a degree in Art & Theology.  The courses Clare specialises in teaching are General English with and without Culture, for Young and Senior Learners and Homestay courses.

Clare (40's) lives with her husband and son in a spacious and comfortable converted Mill in the village of Tredington, near Stratford-Upon-Avon.  It is a large detached house with a large garden for students to enjoy if the weather is nice.

The student's room in Clare's house is well-furnished and comfortable and provides a place where students can have privacy and quiet whenever they need it.

Clare's interests include painting and drawing, visiting art galleries, music, reading, travel and the theatre.

The family has one dog.

Clare's students follow a specially designed one-to-one homestay English course which focuses on the language areas which are most important to them, such as speaking and listening, writing, grammar, the language of business English, and so on. By working intensively on these target areas, students make rapid progress in their English language learning during their stay.
