Anne is a very experienced teacher of English as a Foreign Language and combines teaching with running a stud farm where she breeds Arab horses. Anne is a former travel and financial journalist who worked for the Sunday Times and the Telegraph national newspapers. She has also represented Britain abroad as a tourism manager for the British Tourist Authortiy and English Tourist Board.
Anne has a wide range of interests. These include languages, Arab horse breeding, cars (especially Jaguar) and photography. In addition to your lessons, Anne will try to involve you in local social events. Anne has many years' experience welcoming guests to her house.
Anne lives alone and there are no pets in the house but there is a cat that lives outside, and horses, of course
Your Teacher's home
Anne lives in the market town of Oundle in the East of England. The stud farm is a short drive away and students who enjoy horses can join Anne on the daily visit to the Stud Farm. Anne lives in a modern 4 bedroom detached house.
Local attractions include Peterborough cathedral, medieval buildings, Duxford Air Museum and the Nene Valley Railway. Cambridge and the university colleges are 60km away.

Travel Information
Peterborough train station. There are trains from London Kings Cross approximately every 30 minutes. Journey time from London to Peterborough is about 55 minutes. From Heathrow airport you can reach Kings Cross station in about 60 minutes using the Piccadilly Line. From Stansted airport there are direct trains every hour to Peterborough. Journey time is about 90 minutes.
