Learn English in the home of your teacher with Angela.

Angela was a teacher of French to students age 16 -18 before retiring from full time school teaching. Angela then qualified as a teacher of English as a foreign langauge. Angela continues to teach in schools part time when she does not have home students.

Angela teaches General English to adults and young learners. Angela loves music and is a member of a local choral society. She is also very involved in the local community and regularly does voluntary work when not teaching.

Your Teacher's home

Angela and family live in a comfortable, detached cottage in the village of Finstock. The comfortably furnished guest bedroom is on the ground floor. The house has lovely views over the surrounding countryside.

The village of Finstock is 25km from the city of Oxford. Finstock is a tranquil, picturesque village with a pub and shop. There is a local rail link to the city of Oxford and your teacher will arrange for several excursions during your stay. The village is on the edge of The Cotswolds.

The nearest mainline station is Oxford. There are direct bus service to Oxford from Heathrow and a direct rail service to London. There is a local train service to Finstock.
