Eleanor is a highly qualified and experienced teacher having taught for over 25 years. Eleanor lives with her family in the village of Chandler's Ford which is 9km from Southampton.

Eleanor is a very able and motivated teacher who enjoys welcoming students into her home. She "retired" from full-time teaching at the end of March 2002 and has since taught intensive one-to-one English courses from her beautiful home which she shares with her husband, Chris. They have 3 children who are all in their twenties and are all living away from home. Their children visit regularly.

Eleanor has a wide range of interests and loves having new experiences. She is energetic and friendly and you will be sure of having a wonderful stay in her home. Eleanor and Chris both enjoy keeping fit. Eleanor enjoys cooking, gardening, languages and reading.

Your Teacher's home

Eleanor and Chris live in a four-bedroomed detached house. The house was built in 2005 and is large and very spacious. It has three bathrooms and a beautiful kitchen/breakfast room. The large lounge leads onto the back garden where there is a patio area where the family like to relax. The guest bedroom is nicely furnished with space for private study.

Chandler's Ford is situated in Hampshire only 9km from Southampton which is on the lovely South Coast of England. It is also ideally placed to explore Winchester, Beaulieu, the New Forest, Salisbury and the Isle of Wight. Southampton connects directly to London Waterloo in around 1 hour 15 minutes.
