Your teacher's interests include cooking, going to the theatre and cinema, swimming and shopping. Jim also enjoys gardening and bike riding.
Lynnette and Jim have a son and daughter who go to primary school.
Lynnette's specialism is teaching English for Architects. As a qualified and experienced architect herself, Lynnette can offer a tailor made English course for architects who need to work in an English speaking environment.
Lynnette prepares a personalised English language study course for her students, set at the correct level – elementary, intermediate or advanced – and clearly focused on the key areas students want to improve. For example, students may want intensive practice of their speaking and listening skills, or they may wish to improve their grammar, pronunciation, writing or some other area. One to one home tuition sessions with an experienced tutor like Lynnette produce excellent results in improving students’ English language skills in those areas that need attention.
The Homelingua experience also has the great benefit of offering students total immersion in the English language during their stay, with plenty of opportunities for conversation practice and the use of everyday English outside lessons. Students find themselves joining in mealtime conversation, going on shopping trips and sharing social occasions in a very natural way. The combination of intensive one-to-one home tuition and extensive exposure to real spoken English enables students to make excellent progress in their English language and communication skills in the shortest possible time. It also offers a warm and in-depth experience of British culture and traditions.
