Homelingua provides intensive, high quality English language study and culture homestay programmes for overseas visitors to Britain.

Homelingua has arranged ‘hometuition’ and ‘homestay’ programmes since 1994 and has a network of over 300 home teachers and host families across the UK including the South East, Oxford, Bath, Cheltenham, Stratford upon Avon, the Midlands, Edinburgh and Cumbria.

Our busiest periods are May through until the end of September with a slow down of courses run over the autumn and winter months. Our greatest demand is for qualified EFL teachers who live in the South East, Oxford, Cheltenham, Bath and Stratford upon Avon. Don't be put off from applying if you do not live in one of these regions as we also have students who prefer to stay away from these established tourism centres.

As a home teacher registered with Homelingua, you will be part of an organisation that is dedicated to providing an effective and intensive language study experience that our client will enjoy and remember for years to come. Whilst home tuition cannot offer full time employment, it can provide a flexible and extremely rewarding means of part time employment.

Home teaching is as much a lifestyle as it is a job. It requires the involvement and cooperation of all members of the family. It brings great rewards and friendships but requires patience and enthusiasm.
