Conditions
Homelingua considers the choice of home tutor and host family to be more important than choice of location. We cannot guarantee to place participants in the first choice of location.
Each participant must take out necessary insurance against cancellation, accident, illness, injury, loss of property, theft or any accidental damage to the participant’s property or damage caused by the participant to the property of others.
Homelingua, home teachers and host families in the employment of Homelingua will not accept responsibility for any injury or damage to persons or property of participants during the course.
Homelingua reserve the right at its absolute discretion to expel (without refund of fees) any participant, in the case of theft, any criminal offence or persistent antisocial or unacceptable behaviour.
The participant must inform Hopmelingua at the time of booking if they are suffering from any form of infectious illness (eg.hepatitis), mental or physical handicap.
Cancellation
To confirm a placement we must receive a deposit of £150.00 or full payment within 7 days of your receiving the home teacher’s details. We must receive full payment of fees at least 28 days before the start of your course.
If written cancellation is received more than 45 days before the start of the course there is no cancellation fee.
If notice of cancellation is made 30-45 days before the start of the course a cancellation charge of 50% is due.
If written cancellation is received less than 30 days before the start of a course all fees are payable. Fees will not be reimbursed if the participant arrives late or departs before the end of their course. Participants cannot join their course unless full payment has been received by Homelingua.
