Tony A

Tony lives with his wife Jan in Romsey in Hampshire. Before taking early retirement, Tony was a commercial manager working in international trade.

Tony and Jan spent many years living abroad whilst Tony was working. Whilst in Saudi Arabia, Jan taught English. Both Tony and Jan are qualified teachers of English as a foreign language and they now enjoy hosting and teaching students. They are able to teach a variety of courses from General to Business English, with an emphasis on various specialist areas such as finance. Tony and Jan have 2 children, now grown up and living away from home, and 1 grandchild. Both Tony and Jan are particularly interested in history and culture. Having travelled widely they enjoy learning about other people and cultures. Jan has a particular interest in ancient civilizations, while Tony is interested in war history. They are happy to accompany their students on historical and cultural visits. Jan is also able to do include gardening and cooking as activities on courses. As both Tony and Janet are TEFL teachers, they will occassionally have students at the same time. In this rare case, students will not be of the same nationality.
