Our very special bee keeping Home English teacher

A Homelingua English homestay course with our new teacher, Julia, will offer you more than just English lessons! We are welcoming a new teacher to Homelingua who enjoys the hobby of ‘bee keeping’ and collecting honey. Students staying with Julia will be able to learn about how honey is made, everything from what type of flowers the bees like, how they find their way back to the beehive, and how the honey is made.

Bee keeping isn’t only about making honey. The wax can be used for many different products such as candles and soap and Julia enjoys learning about making all of these things. Julia also enjoys gardening and growing her own fruit and veg.

Julia lives in the small town of Nuneaton which is just outside the city of Birmingham. This is a great location to enjoy both the fun of a big city, but also the quiet and beauty of the English countryside.

You can learn more about Julia from her Homelingua profile.
